Home House Opens Doors For Luxury Living

AN EXTRAORDINARY ESCAPE - PRIVATE MEMBERS CLUB HOME HOUSE IS OPENING ITS DOORS TO NON MEMBERS FOR STAYCATIONS IN JANUARY Located in the heart of Marylebone and just minutes away from Hyde Park, Home House, London’s most iconic private members club, provides the ideal setting to escape everyday life during the dreary winter months and to unwind in opulent surroundings.

Set across three stunning Georgian townhouses, this extraordinary London palace is flaunting the marks of eccentric tales, setting the scene for a staycation like no other. Established in the 18th century, Home House was designed by George III’s architect, James Wyatt, who was commissioned to build a sophisticated palace purely for enjoyment and entertainment. With a story behind every door, the walls harbour secrets of excess and hedonism and were home to a collection of characters and individuals throughout the years.

The 23 bedrooms and suites at Home House, named after the house's intriguing guests, including Earl (Charles) Grey and Anthony Blunt, are luxuriously spacious and retain their 18th century style of capaciousness.

Each room enjoys an alluring anecdote; The deep red marble in Lady Islington’s bathroom on the second floor of the House comes from the same stone as that was used in the star inlay in the floor in the centre of the dome in St. Paul’s Cathedral, London.

The bath found in the Duke of Atholl’s suite on the third floor was made for His Highness

Sayajirao III, Maharajah Gaekwad of Baroda (1863-1939.

During the time of their stay, bedroom guests will have access to the club’s exceptional range of facilities including two restaurants, 5 bars, an exclusive nightclub (The Vaults)

which can be hired for private events, a Winter Garden Lounge, a cigar lounge, a boardroom, a gym, as well as a thriving calendar of exclusive members’ events. Exceptional Events at Home House Bedroom guests can also enjoy Home House’s line-up of exclusive members. This January, Home House’s member events calendar has a special focus on self-care and wellbeing, including events such as Winter Wellness with The House of ELEMIS, a talk with astrologer Andrea Lewis on how to achieve success in 2023, Meditation and Tea with KeepItMindful, and a sober spirits cocktail club. On January 25th, 2023, Home House will be hosting its iconic Burns Night supper. In honour of the 18th Century poet, members and guests can expect a traditional Burns Night celebration with a four-course meal, plenty of addressing the haggis and Home House’s very own Burns Night piper. Tickets for the Burns Night celebration at Home House are priced at £75 for members and £85 for guests. Ginuary - A Celebration of Gin For those that aren’t planning for a Dry January, Home House will be celebrating ‘Ginuary’ in celebration of the much-anticipated launch of the club’s own London Dry Gin, an homage to Lady Home’s favourite drink. There will be Gin O’clock every day throughout the House between 5pm and 7pm, where members and guests can buy one Gin & Tonic and enjoy a second Gin-based cocktail at half price.

Members rates starting from £230 and non-members rates from £322 per night for a Club Room. Reservations can be made via email at reservations@homehouse.co.uk
